Good move that one.
I think not.

There's been several more cuts made since those times too.

Jump in without thinking Trump, seems to think our Mayors are as powerful as elected State mayor's in the USA.
Which isn't the case.

Khan has said more resources are needed, the Police and he are working together continuously on this growing problem.
Not only in London either is it a problem.

I'm not keen on Khan but he is limited as to resources or even powers.
The Government should be there right in the mix sorting this out, with both the Mayor and the police.

As for Katie Hopkins, it is time that hate filled bigot just crawled away and spout her hate speech in more private settings.
Why any media still give that rotten minded Woman space publicly amazes me.

We may have a selected list of devolved powers across the UK.
Mayors in place too.
However the elected government is STILL the UK government overall and it needs to be involved to bring in more resources and powers re-new laws if necessary, to help combat this awful rise of knife crime.
As well as the terrorists threat remaining too.

Quite frankly though, this USA President should be politely told, if it's possible, to really butt out and not inflame tensions in our politics or cities.
