Well with that mindset, we should continue using plastic straws because everyone else does, or continue buying single use plastic because other people do. And then screw our planet even more.

And just because beef production is less significant in comparison to pollution elsewhere, doesn’t mean that’s something that doesn’t have to change. Every little step towards saving the environment helps - doesn’t matter if it’s one person using refillable cups or a whole university cutting out beef.
