The extreme end of socialism (communism) doesn't work. The extreme end of capitalism (unregulated free market) doesn't work. The best system we have currently is a regulated capitalism with the employment, wages and housing structures -- and an active consumer base -- propped up by an appropriate and fair number of socialist policies. Anyone who tries to argue for one "versus" the other is ... misguided. |
