Default

Areas in that region recorded 100mm in a day which is a lot

a very wet day in the UK would typically give 25mm

However Prades, Baix Camp, Spain recorded 287.4mm of rain in 24 hours on 23 October!

But rainfall totals are relative to your topography and catchment

The current world record for 24-hour rainfall came from Tropical Storm Denise in the Indian Ocean and lashed the island of La Reunion with an almost unbelievable 1796mm in 1966.
