Default Discolady 09/03/2002

Good evening everyone, and welcome to thisisbigbrother.com’s ‘Who Wants to BB a Millionaire’.

This week’s contestant is discolady, and I’d like to thank her for agreeing to do this at such short notice. Discolady is well know to all of us, especially those TalkBB members who she has spent countless hours making copies of BB tapes for. I’d like to thank her on everyone’s behalf for all her hard work and wish her lots of Good Luck for this evening.

As I have said on a couple of other threads it is getting more and more difficult to arrange these shows, as even though there are still several names on the list who have said they would like to take part, finding someone who’s free for a Saturday is not as easy as it sounds. I’d like to ask you all to have a look at the ‘Millionaire Dates’ thread that I started yesterday and for those of you who would still like to take part to choose a Saturday between now and the start of BB3 that you will be free. If you could all do this that would be a great help.

As usual here is a reminder of the BB Millionaire rules.

The Quizmaster will ask each question and will then wait for the contestant to post the answer. We would appreciate it if nobody other than the contestant posts onto the thread unless they have been asked to be an ‘Ask a Friend’. Any random posts will be immediately deleted.

Each Contestant has three lifelines:

1 ‘Ask a Friend’, where you can choose one person currently online to help you. Once they have been nominated the ‘friend’ should post what he or she thinks is the answer. Admin cannot be nominated as ‘Friends’.

2. ‘50:50’, where 2 wrong answers will be removed.

3. ‘Ask for a Clue’, where, as you cannot ask the audience, you can ask us for a clue.

We cannot tell what you are doing, but we ask you to behave fairly and not look all the answers up in the book or to cheat in any other way.

Tonight’s show will be slightly unusual as I will start the evening as Quizmaster, but Mark will be taking over about half way through.

As usual, I’ll give you a couple of minutes to read this and then we’ll start.
