Post The last six series on Channel 5..

Have aired in less than a year and a half.

Before we even reach the two year anniversary of it's return there will have been eight series, including three main and five celebrity. Assuming it continues at the same rate, they'll air their 11th series before the third.

In January, CBB will match the current main series count. If both shows continue to be renewed without changes to the current schedule, a year later it'll match the main series count as it stands then for the first time since CBB1, and in 2016 it will overtake it twice, the second time it won't catchup. In January 2018 the celebrity version will be 3 series ahead of the main version and in January 2020 it will have over taken it by 5. By the end of 2020, less than eight years from now, the main series will be on it's 21st run and the celebrity series will be on it's 26th.

The more the better, or is it all too much?
