I don't care if they were not meant to drink the alcohol, why shouldn't they anyway?? They are still part of the house & so what if they had some champagne earlier? I would have done exactly the same & helped myself to a large glass of wine & when they shrieked at me I would have just downed it in one & told them to 'eff off!
