They were shocked when they heard the voice over the wall. Their first reaction was deny everything. Heat of the moment stuff. But you can understand it grating on the mind.
Also she didn't "blab". She discussed it with 2 of her closest allies, as far as she believes.
And can we really call that "nasty"? It was a quiet tiff.
