I think in the house most of the dislike comes from them having watched his VT and then the bullcrap the ex housemates fed them about the newbies.
As for outside the house I have no idea why he seems to be extremely hated, he hasn't done anything wrong IMO and definitely hasn't done anything at all to deserve the boos or the extreme hatred of him.

She gives Chris an ear to vent his feelings about him, but from what I've seen that's as far as it goes.
