So technically the channel isn't entirely dead yet - for either iPlayer requirements with the BBC Trust or to keep the channel on Sky (it's unclear which as of yet), BBC Three has scheduled back-to-back episodes of classic shows to fill in the air time (the rest of it is taken up by a loop commercial for the online service). The known schedule is as follows:

Tonight it's a mini-marathon of Gavin and Stacey - they even went to the effort of playing an ident beforehand and using a continuity announcer to introduce the programme.
