Completely agree. What I love about BB2-5 is that the format develops every season with simple but significant twists to the core format.

Obviously BB2 had the complete overhaul with the introduction of HoH and the removal of viewer voting, but otherwise still has the innocence of an early BB. The format then develops with the introduction of the Veto and then changes to the rules each season, but sadly after BB7, when they introduced the random element to the Veto picks, the format hasn't really been developed at all. They did try with Battle of the Block but didn't quite get it right.


BB2-BB5 are BBUSA at it's peak. You'll either love or hate BB6 (I hated it), whilst after there there isn't much to choose between them really - it's familarlarity which is the shows biggest problem so if you're watching a season cold it probably doesn't matter hugely which one. My personal choices would be BB10, BB12 or BB16.
