Finally home after a long night at 6 chair! I'm not gonna lie, I was slightly gutted when I Heard the category we were seeing but I have to say, there is some quality talent this year. I saw The Overs category and as promised, here is the review:

Samantha Atkinson, 32 from Hull (Was shown briefly last year) https://youtu.be/dZzFB12T9fQ She sang Run To You by Whitney Houston. For being the first one out, I thought she smashed it! Very strong vocals, really humble and good audience reaction. Looks completely different this year though and has blonde hair. Half a standing ovation too. SEAT ONE

Melissa, 27 from Newcastle - Wild horses - Had quite a basic reaction from the audience, nothing too exciting. However, certain parts of her voice were exceptional and the song was really controlled. Didn't seem to impress the judges as much as Sam but got through. SEAT TWO

Honey G - Rapper who was "The Realest Chick In The House" Hahahahha. Sang Where They From by Missy Elliot Ft. Pharrell. Hilarious. Looked ridiculous but did get the crowd going. Half were up dancing during it but was just a complete novelty act. Kept fighting for her place and then started getting boos. She didn't get a seat.

Irena (From Los Angeles) but lives in London, sang Mamma Knows Best. All over the place but she thought she was incredible. Tore her outfit halfway through the performance as well. Loads of boos from the audience, no one warmed to her. Looked good but was just cannon fodder IMO. Despite that though, she got a seat! Terrible choice IMO and you could tell Sharon didn't want to but the other judges wanted her through. SEAT 3

James Wilson - Leeds - 34 sang Trouble. Really good raspy voice. Spoke at the start for a bit about how he couldn't write but singing keeps him focused etc. Got a very good reaction from the audience from the get go. Although he was good, his voice had a lot of limitations and wasn't too strong. Played guitar too. However, wouldn't surprise me if he makes the lives shows because the judges really bigged him up (especially Simon) SEAT 4

Sala Badoo (A Doll)?! - Sang Numb by Linkin Park. Very surreal. She genuinely claimed to be a doll when she started talking. Dressed ridiculously and was caked in make up but actually seemed like a nice woman. Really strange peromance and most of it was terrible. Despite the madness, Sharon gave her a seat. SEAT 5

Relley C - BACK again this year (got to JH in 2013) https://youtu.be/Wy5bxNLL3BQ
But looks completely different this year. She sang What A Wonderful World. Definitely has star quality and was loved by the audience. Sang most of it really well but originally the guitarist sounded really loud behind her and Simon soon picked up on it after the song. She then was asked to 30 seconds acapella leading up to the chorus which was good. Definitely a raw talent. SEAT 6

James Craze - 29 year old Music Teacher - Sang Alive by Sia. Had a decent voice but was absolutely nothing too exciting about his voice or personality unfortunately. However, he was definitely better than Irena and Sala that were already put through so he did get a seat. Shockingly SWAPPED for SEAT 2 (Melissa)! Audience booed for a good 5 minutes chanting "Bring her back" but Sharon didn't give in.

Janet Grogan - BACK from 2014 (Got swapped out at Simon's 6 chair) https://youtu.be/X4BQ90i-JN4 Again, like the other returnees, she looks completely different. Sang One Last Time but Ariana Grande. Extremely talented but the judges rightly said, they hated the song choice and how she was better than the song (even though she did it justice) so Simon asked her to sing 30 seconds acapella of another song and she sang Sam Smith which was pretty much note perfect. Sailed through after that performance with half a standing ovation even though Sharon and Simon said they would have said no based on her first performance. However she got a seat and was SWAPPED for SEAT 3 (Irena)

Older chap with long blond hair (Didn't catch his name, sorry) - Sang REM's Everybody Hurts - Completely cabaret. Was a no and very minor reaction from the audience.

Sara - originally from Lapland - Sang I See Fire by Ed Sheeran. She didn't stop talking. Went on and on and on about her story of how she moved to the UK so she could come on X Factor and to pursue her career. Actually pretty talented but I literally said at the end of the song that she sounded like something from Eurovision and Louis said exactly that. Simon really praised her and audience were chanting seat constantly to swap for number 5 (Doll Woman) but Sharon wasn't feeling it. Sara wouldn't leave the stage though and kept going on and on so Simon told her to sing something to change her mind. She then sang acapella in French which made the whole audience turn on her and everyone was chanting off. She finally gave up and didn't get a seat.

Christopher Bing (Bing) from Virginia - Sang Rise Up (Brilliant song) - Really strange one because he was dressed in a glittery blazer and just looked a bit mental but came across like a decent chap. When he first started singing it was pretty pitchy but when he got into it, the Chorus' got stronger and stronger and it actually turned into a decent performance. Has quite a husky voice. Very positive response from the judges and audience chanting swap. SWAPPED for SEAT 5 (Doll Woman)

Rebecca - 40 - Why (Annie Lennox) Spoke about how she lost one of her sons at a young age and it was the first time her other son was watching her perform. Had a very old school voice and although it was ok, wasn't even remotely exciting and audience didn't get behind her. She thought for her place but then audience started just booing her and judges didn't look impressed. No seat.

Trevor - 29 from Dublin - Sang Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls. He and Nicole didn't stop flirting before he started singing, very cocky too. Mediocre singer tbh, nothing special and high notes were all over the place. Girls seemed to really like him but general response seemed pretty flat. Judges seemed to like his personality but all dissed his voice. Started saying he lost his voice and he can do so much better etc. Girls kept shouting swap but he didn't get a seat.

Maria - 34 (Originally from Italy) sang Over The Rainbow. Brilliant singer and seemed to have a really good personality. Some of the notes were fantastic and she had very good control, was only a couple of slightly off notes. Audience went crazy for her, got a full standing ovation and judges gave her tonnes of praise too. Sailed through SWAPPED over with SEAT 2 (James Craze)

Ivy-Grace (Parerez?) - 33 - Singing Midwife originally from The Philippines. STOLE THE SHOW. Although I usually hate hearing I Have Nothing being covered all the time, from the very first note and throughout, it was flawless. Although there were times where the audience were cheering so loud I could barely hear her, you could still tell she was smashing it. There was one part in the middle where she really belted it and made it her own. Standing ovation from both the audience and judges (Aside from Simon but I just think he couldn't be bothered haha because he kept clapping and didn't stop praising her afterwards) Sailed through but was SHOCKINGLY SWAPPED with seat 2 again (Maria)

Audience were going mental at this point for a good 5-10 minutes before the last act came out... chanting to get her back and to swap Someone else out but Sharon stuck to her guns. To be fair, although they were both exceptional, another thing I did say was their singing styles are very similar and there was only really a place for one of them at Judges Houses.

Anna Lisa (Was on 8 years ago where Sharon sent her home?) - Sang Amazing Grace acappella. I thought she started off pretty strong but then it seemed to get just more and more shouty and pitchy. Got a very basic reaction from the crowd and people were more interested in STILL chanting bring 2 back (Maria) whilst the judges were giving their verdict. Simon got her to sing again and she eventually did another ballad acappella (can't remember which one right now) but was again mediocre IMO. Sharon seemed to have a soft spot for her but still said no in the end (Looked like she felt really bad for making that decision).

WOW that was hard work.....!!! Well there you have it the final 6 overs are:

Samantha Atkinson
Ivy-Grace
Janet Grogen
James Wilson
Christopher Bing
Relley C

So 3 past contestants in the top 6! Overall good mix of talent but dunno if the winner is in there! Hope this helped everyone.
