Celebrity Big Brother 18
(Friday) Episode 1 - The Live Launch Part 3

Emma returned to front the glitzy show. "Welcome back to Celebrity Big Brother! Before the break, we saw Saira, Mitch and Scott join Matty and Zoe in the house, unaware that George, Casey, Nathan, Sandy, Sandra and Katie are just metres away in the Other House." The crowd seemed pleased at this statement. "Getting straight back on to the show, it's time to see if Housemate six is absolutely fabulous !"

Housemate 6

"Hi my name is Catriona," An older woman with dark blonde hair announced, before giggling. "Only joking! I am Helen Lederer and I'm sure you'll know me from being a comedian and actress."

Helen was sat in the brighter, colourful room. "I suppose people will know me best from starring as Catriona in Ab Fab since 1992." She then pauses, and looks confused. "Actually, that's a long time when you think about it, isn't it? Alongside that, I've done a little bit of stand-up, presenting, starred in movies such as Horrid Henry, quiz shows, game shows - I must've done everything on the face of the planet by now, just not Celebrity Big Brother!"

Joining Emma on the runway, Helen seemed chuffed at the positive reception she had received. "Wow, amazing reception Helen how do you feel?"

"Oh I'm used to it in my glamorous lifestyle darling!" Helen joked. "No, no, I'm really happy that they feel this way about me!"

"You mentioned that the only thing you haven't done is Celebrity Bog Brother, do you think the other shows have prepared you for this?" Ema asked, politely.

Helen shook her head, laughing. "Nothing can prepare you for Big Brother. I suppose it is what it is, you know?"

"Oh I know!" Emma gestured to the stairs. "Right Helen, it's time for you to go it! Have the best time you can, and good luck!" After Helen had entered, Emma returned to her presenting duties. "Right then, it's time to meet Housemate Seven, who'll be squeezing the juice out of his fellow housemates.

Housemate Seven

As usually, the camera scanned over the next celebrity. This one has messy blond hair, a bandaged hand and an unusual dress sense. "Hi, my name is Keith Lemon and you're BANG TIDY!"

"So, let's get this straight -" He begin, in his Yorkshire accent. "I am the pinnacle of modern day comedy. Let's face it, Celebrity Juice is one of the best shows on TV now, and The Keith Lemon Sketch Show is a right hit." He paused, chuckling. "I'm probably best known for my super great catchphrases, that include Bang Tidy and many others." He was trying to remember other things he'd done. "That's about me, the others are bound to love me!"

"Oh, and Through the Keyhole is much better since I took over. Just saying."

Emma brought Keith over. "Now Mr. Lemon ... I know you and your humour very well, but what about other housemates? How will they react to your sense of humour."

"Hopefully they'll give a good reception." He put his thumbs up. "I mean people naturally gravitate towards me, I'm so likeable and I think all t'other housemates will love me for who I am."

"Right then Keith," Emma smiled. "I need to get you in the house, I can't wait to see what you get up to!" Waiting until Keith was in, Emma continued to the show. "Right, I think Keith will make his viewpoints heard a lot, but will the next housemate be afraid to speak aloud? I don't think so ..."

Housemate Eight

Hovering over shoulder length hair for a while, the camera finally revealed a face. "Hi, I am Sarah Harding and I guess I'm famous for being a part of girl group Girls Aloud!"

In the lighter background of the set, Sarah began to speak about herself. "Yeah, so after Girls Aloud rose to fame on Popstars: The Rivals, we became a household name and it was a massive lifestyle change, a shock if you like. I don't regret the split at all, you can't regret anything! It allowed me to explore new avenues; being a solo artist and going into acting." She nodded. "I mean Corrie was fun, but I wasn't asked back and outside I don't care, but inside it hurt. Rejection always hurts. And I suppose competing on The Jump hurts, let's just hope CBB isn't as bad!"

Runway Song - Something New, by Girls Aloud

"Sarah, get over here!" Emma chanted. "Right, You've had a lot of rejection and hurt in the past, what are your reasons for doing this show and are you ready?"

Sarah nodded. "Yeah, I wanted to experience a new way if life, and I think I've prepared myself well!"

"Right then, get yourself in!" Emma hurried her over to the stairs, before continuing the show. "So, in the house we have Matty, Zoe, Saira, Mitch, Scott, Helen, Keith and Sarah. Beside them in the Other House we have George, Casey, Nathan, Katie, Sandy and Sandra. After the break,mew greet our final two housemates before the Others make their nominations. See you then."
