everything seems to go a bit ridiculous after zoe creates the serum
like up until then the tone is just perfect, everything feels genuinely scary/deeply disturbing but then right after the serum is made that ridiculous boss fight with jack starts and it's just a ****ing mess lmao like if anything it's more tongue-in-cheek hilarious than scary
i've only played for about 20 mins after killing him for the (3rd?) time but i don't like the ship at all
idk it just doesn't feel scary to me whereas the house was amazing
also i don't like how they are explaining the story now (or they seem to be) of exactly what happened for the family to end up like that/the origin of the kids, like it feels as though it's taking away from the mystery aspect of the game up until that point and i get a feeling it's gonna be way more action-orientated from here on out which sucks
