Yep definitely. Parents should be reported at the schools own discretion imo, If the child is missing massive amounts of school, falling behind on their work etc then report the parents but otherwise it's a joke really.
I'm not even sure what the law is on it over here, if there is a law like that they don't really enforce it, i don't think, I've often took my kids off school for things and nothing was ever said
