I would say it's not an affliction of 'snowflakes' but those also who use those terms to describe others.
Have you tried to counter an opinion on anyone on an issue and met a wall of 'snowflake'! 'unpartriotic'! ' PC brigade'! ' leftie'!
No wonder it drives people mad, those terms are specifically designed to shut down debate.
