Also given Shane J is from Australia, his talk of LGBT rights clearly stems from his upbringing in Australia, which is less progressive than the UK. I don't think he has ever said "UK should have equal rights for LGBT people but not Australia!!!". In fact, I've never heard him specifically mention the UK?

Also, just because LGBT people have equal rights (as far as I'm aware) in the UK, doesn't mean that they're exactly equal... they're still subject to discrimination, and Shane J has spoken out about treating LGBT people equally, so it's not as if this concept isn't one Shane J hasn't advocated for

So tl;dr, they're 'constantly screaming' gay rights because in places like Australia and the USA, there are still laws against LGBT people, and in other places gay people can be killed for being gay
The reason I mentioned UK is because he's on a UK show with a UK audience talking about a UK politician.
