There's got to be something going on behind the scenes. There's literally no plots.

Like don't get me wrong, the day to day stuff has improved. Mel and Jack's build up actually kind of works as background character building. The Slater unit has worked, the cleaning stuff is kind of amusing (still think Kat should open the Albert and have a rivalry with Mel, the Vic being empty because of the club doesn't make sense, they'd have a different clientele anyway. More realistic for the Albert).

Overall, the episodes are watchable now, it's just missing those main plots covering it. What is in the episodes is fine, it just shouldn't be the main focus.

But apparently Yorke isn't even based at Elstree. I reckon he's just having creative control, hiring/firing, bringing people back, sorting the cast out, suggesting big plots (heist, stabbing etc) but can't be there actually running the show 100% so it's a long hard slog getting anywhere.
