Exclamation BBC Recives over 100 Complaints over Eastenders Dog
Over 100 EastEnders viewers have complained to the BBC over isinuations that one of the show's key characters killed a dog.

This week's final two instalments of the Walford soap saw Lucas Johnson - played by Don Gilet - begin to panic about his murderous ways being uncovered when Sugar the collie continued to dig in the soil around Trina's tree.

With Owen Turner's body buried beneath, Sugar could still smell her previous owner's scent and with no-one else knowing Owen's whereabouts - or even that he's dead - Lucas decided to deal with Sugar in his own way.

Taking the dog for a walk, Lucas stopped on the canal bank and eerily looked at Sugar, before glancing out over the water. When Lucas returned home, he held only Sugar's lead and insisted that she ran away.

A statement on the BBC Complaints website read: "Regular viewers of EastEnders will know that Lucas has already killed two people in order to protect his reputation. Although it is never explicit that Sugar dies, the story does indeed suggest that Lucas has killed her. This behaviour is completely in keeping with his character."

It went on: "EastEnders does not condone the killing of dogs, just as it does not condone killing people. No animals were harmed in the making of this story."

I think the reason it upset people was because even though it wasnt showen, its the thought of a dog being killed and Dogs cant defend themselfs as much as humans can..
So its kind of sad, but its only a TV Show at the end of a day, thats what I had to keep telling myself when Bradley And Danielle died and I was annoyed lol

WTF.
So tehy cant even have a character killing an animal in a soap!! (which is all fake), but its okay to kill 5 characters off every month though :/
Bloody hell, its not like he actually killed the dog!! People need to get a life if they are going to complain about everything.

They didn't even show him being killed, actually do we even know he got killed? No didn't think so. Some people just watch these shows to look for something to complain about, they need to get out more.

The last quote is funny as its kind of taking the mick out of the complainers.

"EastEnders does not condone the killing of dogs, just as it does not condone killing people" LOL, do you think the complainers actually think that EE bosses are condoning animal and human deaths, course not!! So its kind of a comment taking the mick, rightfully so.

As an animal lover, I was quite sad when I saw this. I couldn't give a toss about whatsherface and Owen. Lucas can kill as many humans as he likes and I'd still love him. But killing a poor defenceless animal. That's a big nono.

That said, I'd like to finish up with a big **** YOU to all of those that complained to the BBC. IT'S NOT REAL MORONS.
