Default This series is terrible (so far)

I might be alone on this but so far this series has been terrible, the housemates have been horribly miscast, just when things were starting to settle they ejected 1 and evicted 4 in the same week - viewers were just getting used to the house and the relationships within it and then boom, it's back to the beginning...just did not work.

Also, the actual episodes are boring, nothing really happens and when it does it's usually Marc pulling some unfunny 'lad' behaviour and we're all meant to be shocked by it...plus none of the are remotely likeable.

People are saying that BB15 was the worst but how can they say that when this exists? BB15 might not have had a likeable winner or bunch of housemates but it was entertaining throughout...I looked forward to watching it each night whereas this year I almost force myself to watch it.

Anyone agree or am I totally alone on this? I'm PRAYING tonight's twist livens it up.

I don't agree I think its really good. I think the 4 in 4 out thing was never done before and it gave the series a good kick even though I don't like any of the newbies. I have enjoyed some years far more than others but I am a fan so I will keep watching it. If I found this series to be as bad as you are finding it I would say 'Sod It. I have better things to watch'

I'm enjoying IT. It's well-paced, and developing nicely. I think the casting has been good. Somewhat diverse and very likeable IMO.

I have been missing loads of episodes and then forcing myself to watch them because i'm determined to like it.....but it just isn't happening yet,it might turn around. I've been a huge BB fan since 2004.

The series this year is crap, that's a gimme, but why is even more interesting. The HM's are becoming cleverer than the casting numpties and all we are seeing are HM's self promoting their careers on the outside/

1. Harry acting like a Danica in the hope sleezy men join her baff website.

2. Cristian inventing a false name and back story just to get promoted on the outside.

3. Danny acting like a cool dude when he is a fame humgry ***** on the outside.

4. Nick, Joel and Chloe all sceaming their way to the finals with game plans.

5. Sam and Simon have lied their way into the house and Jade is about as believable as a model as I am as a rocket scientyist.

6. marc has gone in there with orders and Jack is a heart attack waiting to happen and he will go into meltdown when he finds out the truth.

7. Bag all that up with a large dose of Rylan bias and you have a recipe for disaster and its showing very clearly.

They had a good series with the people they had, not sure why they were deemed unsuitable two weeks in tbh :/

It's not great but it still has some potential left. Not as good as BB13 and BB14 but nowhere near as bad as BB15 and BB12

It has been good imo.

I was a bit l;ike you with the 4 eviction thing, i had spent time getting to like and know the evictees then booom, gone.

All four of them were good hm's in their own right and at least 3 of them would have been much better to watch up against marc.

I have still enjoyed it a lot though and has been my favourite since freddie and marcus's lot were in.

I do think that marc needs to stay in the house tonight to carry the houise side of things this week.

I can see it being pretty dull in the main house if he goes into the lair.....

One thing though, helen wood and nikki grahame...give us a bloody break bb, they are ****.

It's not as bad as BB12.
But it's on par with BB15, IMO.

Both a mess of a series.

I agree with the OP. BB15 was way better than this. Tons of drama and interesting & off the wall conversations & discussions during the show and on these forums. There isn't even much to talk about. Marc acting like an asshole and what else? Its the same repetitive stuff over and over again. The newbies have not livened up things and there are too many dull housemates in there. Its been complete crap.

When you try and take a very popular series like Big Brother and turn it in to an imitation of Geordie Shore, then a load of crap will be the outcome.

Never mind next week the producers will come up with a great idea of a game, "Who's the best looking housemate? and who's the ugliest?. Or who is the bitchiest?

No wait they already did that about 5 times.

I don't believe the housemates stay in the house for 24 hours a day no longer, I strongly believe they spend most of their time being told what to do and say to make a show. If the producers want to prove me wrong then feel free and prove it. But they wont because they cant.

What is also really annoying about the show is how they just show you everything that happens on the Coming up at the very start.

Your a little late to the "this series is crap" party... but we always welcome new members

I was loving it at first, and liked most of the housemates generally, or liked disliking them... but once Aaron was sent out and 4 out 4 in took place I couldn't be bothered. That week went against the basic structure of the show I used to love, and made it a parody of itself. It is probably worse than BB15, in that they really got my hopes up with the original cast, but cut the legs out from under it before it had a chance.

I don't think its very good and the figures are dropping. Last years was bad but I can't pick any of them to win this year as I don't have a favourite - they are all a bit boring and the content every night is fairly weak. Some of the Housemates are entirely detestable...

I'm loving this series compared to last year, last year I didn't like many of the HM's, were as this year I like most of them.
