I don't get what is random about it? Everton should be a solid top 6 side. They have just been badly handled. With backing he can get them to that.

I'm with Black Dagger on this one.
Ancelotti is a good Manager imo, he could leave Everton in a good position when he eventually gets sacked.

They’d have been far better going for Arteta but it looks as though he’ll sign up with Arsenal ... I’d have loved him at Barca so that’s gutting
