THE TRUTH ABOUT OUTRAGEOUS SCOT IN BIG BROTHER 7

OUR interior design duo cast their expert eyes over the new-look Big Brother House. With its indoor lawn and outdoor dining it's certainly unusual but Colin and Justin are decidedly unimpressed by the "prison interview room" look living room.

SPLASHING OUT (POOL AREA)

It's the House of Commons meets Hugh Hefner as traditional gentleman's club style - in the form of the humble Chesterfield settee - gets a radical re-colour, in waterproof red and white plastic. Classy, eh? Add to that the tacky outdoor flock wallpaper, the huge grass balls and the plunge pool and it's all starting to look a wee bit Playboy bunny to us.

LIVING AREA

The living area has a wonderfully dramatic floor design with its swirling pattern and bold colours but what about that seating? To say is looks uncomfortable is an understatement! It looks like an overly-designed prison interview room for a self-help group who want to suffer for their sins. Those poor housemates!

THE GREAT OUTDOORS (DINING)

Big Brother must be expecting warm and dry weather as the emphasis this year is definitely on outdoor pursuits. We love this wild mix of gothic splendour meets stark minimalism with a beaded chandelier overhanging the long lines of a very elegant table. The result is a modern, and potentially romantic, dining experience. So who'll be the first housemates to share an intimate nibble underneath the stars?

ALL TOGETHER NOW (BEDROOM)

Oriental minimalism is the order of the day and it's just as well as all 18 contestants will bed down together which should prompt mayhem. The space just isn't enough for the numbers involved and this design is guaranteed to harass the housemates. Just imagine being that close to a couple who fancy being the next Chantelle and Preston
