Default iTunes help?

I got a new laptop recently, but all my songs are on my iTunes on my old computer, and i am afraid to sync my Ipod on this new laptop as i heard that all your music will be deleted?

Is this true? And if so how do i get the music from my old laptop to this one.. a memory stick? I have like 800 songs though...

Use that family sharing feature thing, it'll transfer them all automatically for you as long as they both have iTunes and are on at the same time

That reminds me, earlier on I logged into my Apple ID and they were like 'We can transfer all your Movie Downloads to a Family share.'

Something like that - whatever it was it was basically them saying they'd import my downloaded films from the Apple Store, onto my iTunes again.

So I hit yes, and then the Downloads tab on my iTunes - literally vanished and nothing else came up, the bastards.

Anyone know what this is about?

I basically can't view my downloaded films that Apple took money of me for.

I backed all of my music up on DVD disks when I got a new laptop, it even saved my ratings and playcounts.

de-authorise you're account on the old computer and then authorise on the new, you can only have one computer at a time

that's basically what I did and worked ok.
