I originally thought Nicholas' was Kings of Leon but then I realised that's not the song title and what the theme was, I was going to say that'd just be ridiculous. But then again Someone Like You is just yet another ballad for him to sing dull as per

Good luck to Luke, I am sure he will do a great job on it but I am myself really sick of 'Your Song',I love the song but it has been done to death all ways by loads of people.

Bond themes don't do well on X Factor in the main and I detest 'Diamonds are forever' as a song anyway.

One big groan too at Rough Copy's song, for goodnss sake.
These are supposedly the best of British songbook, all powers that be help us if that is the case.

I feel Louis has in fact chosen bad songs for all his acts this week, in fact I am not sure I will like any of the songs for any act,all the the mentors seem to have thrown the towel in this week.

They are just far too well known not to be compared to the originals,where in near all the cases, they cannot be bettered.

Nicholas McDonald – Someone Like You - He doesnt have the range to pull that off. Too hard for him

Rough Copy – Viva La Vida - I'm interested by this one . It might work. I like the song anyway so am a little biased

Sam Bailey – Something - great song. Great song choice. This will be good.

Tamera foster – Diamonds Are Forever - Another big song for Tamera

Hannah Barrett – Satisfaction- cant see this working. It looks like a clash of styles to me.

I assume 'Something' is the 'Beatles' song that 'Shirley Bassey' is so well known for too, so a typical choice for Sam B but how to better 'Shirley Bassey' on a performance as such she gave on that song is a tall order, no matter who you are.
