vote to save for all series. I barely ever vote in vote to evict because I don't care about evicting them, I want to keep my faves.

VTS has a lot more going for it, I would always prefer it over VTE.

i wish i had a time machine, i would probably go back to big brother 7 on channel 4 and implement vote to SAVE from then on.... i can only imagine the difference it would have made to all the series which came after it!
oh what could have been..

For some reason, I just like the idea of having VTS for CBB and VTE for BB; I think it works well.

VTE gives us more interesting outcomes, IMO. Take BB15 as an example; the two biggest evictions of the series would never have happened - Jale's and Winston's. In Week 5, Christopher probably leaves over Jale, there's no huge panic about Ashleigh leaving and we don't get a shock result. In Week 9, Pav obviously leaves rather than Winston and we don't get a shock result.

I also like how VTE adds more of a strategical side to voting. Rather than just voting for whomever your favourite is, you have to pay attention to whom other people are voting for. A large number of campaigns were launched this series to try to get fans of certain housemates to join together and vote the same way.

Obviously, VTS means that there's a higher chance of a "bigger character" staying in the House, but I prefer the unpredictability of VTE. I just think VTS makes evictions a lot more obvious and less tense.

I also prefer the idea of picking a housemate I want to leave and voting for them, rather than picking a housemate I want to stay and voting for them.

I think I prefer VTS with CBB because it seems more fitting for a shorter series like that. With the celebrity series, there are also more casual viewers watching the programme.

I don't really care to be honest tends to be the same result anyway unless it's a "whole house up" situation.
