Default Johnson PM Visits North Scotland 23/7/20

He has No time
to meet any SNP troublemakers.

Once again has said
No to another Scottish Vote

Debate Live on LBC, now

[Boris Johnson is visiting Scotland claiming the "sheer might of our union" has
strengthened the fight against coronavirus north of the border.
In a trip billed as kick-starting a campaign to save the union,
he will tell Scots that if they stick with Britain they will
continue to benefit from huge economic support.]

He has no time to meet with the party elected to run Scotland's affairs.
What disrespect for the electorate of Scotland.

Since he rejects the will of the majority of voters in Scotland. Since the Greens support the SNP as to an independence vote again.
His visit will help ensure the swing against him flows stronger and he may yet be the PM who ends up being forced to preside over the break up of not only the UK but Great Britain too.

Arrogant, ignorant and insulting are the only traits he has.

They're the governing body of Scotland, he should "have time" for them.

But still...

SNP: "Westminster’s plan to impose an unelected, unaccountable body to rule on decisions made by the Scottish Parliament will not be accepted."

Also SNP: Scotland loves the EU

Twitter gives massive disproportionate prominence to small groups of people, and has little to no relevance to actual public opinion. Also the 'cybernats' are just the worst.

It's the people who shout the loudest about dirty campaigns and unfair politics, are the ones who come up with buzz phrases like Boris Farewell Tour and break out the EU flags when it's been democratically decided to leave the EU. Like it was a democratic vote that decided no to independence in the referendum. They sure can dish it out...

I would understand if both referendums were landslide results. But they weren’t. It’s been five years since both. Things have changed.

The Scottish referendum was a "once in a lifetime" referendum. And the Brexit referendum was a single, stand-alone referendum. Not that much has changed in five years... just the people who were defeated in both referendums can't come to terms.

About a thousand tweets is enough to get something trending sometimes. When I had a look there the nationalists were also going after Naga Munchetty because of some interview they were unhappy about.

He will find it much harder to keep saying no to another referendum.
If the SNP have as part of the Holyrood elections, their intention to have another.
If the SNP retain control in Holyrood and increase their support.
Plus if the Greens in Scotland continue to support the SNPs aim.

Then really, Johnson and his government would be taking politics and the UK on an extremely inappropriate and dangerous road.

Dictatorship doesn't look and isn't good.
If through elections the SNP get a further mandate from the Scots voters for a new independence vote.

Then really, Johnson shouldn't be able to and I'd say pressure would mount where he couldn't not grant it.

All he'll do is fuel more discord and strengthen more and more the likely vote for independence.
Unity is not something he achieves, he tries to demand it.
That's not real or the best leadership.

I find Naga Munchety one of the most annoying people on TV.
I really have to switch over when she's on.
Not just on politics, on anything.

I doubt Ian Blackford would be bothered.

You just know if it was the other way round that they would be saying the same thing also and would not be asking for a second referendum.

Apart from 62% of Scots that voted against brexit, and are having their rights forcibly removed because of England.
