Big Brother evictee, Federico will put himself at the mercy of Geordie girls tonight when he arrives in Newcastle to publicly apologise for insulting the city's fairer sex during his four-week stay in the house.

During a late-night discussion with his fellow housemates, Federico provoked fury on Tyneside when he claimed that from his experience, nine out of 10 women in Newcastle were "slags".

But he is hoping, literally, to kiss and make up with Newcastle's female contingent tonight with a heartfelt apology - and the offer of kisses for the first 100 women who turn up to see him grovel.

Federico will be appearing at The Gate, on Newgate Street, Newcastle, tonight between 7pm and 8pm.
