Maybe Morrissey's solo work is very under rated but The Smiths no way

I still don't think The Smiths made it as big as they should of. Although that could also be because of the band itself.

I agree but the times were different back then you had DURAN DURAN, Culture Club and that lot ruling the charts. Also remember The stone Roses Debut Didn't even break into the top ten but that's always seen as one of the best albums of all time.

the posh student's you mean

yeah they ruin gigs for me most of these bands are working class bands and are singing about real things not about "Daddy bought me a house the other week". But they always be the ones who go to gigs with their fancy haircuts and clothes but look totally uncool cause they are trying too hard

yeah i was shocked to read this thread if their is one band who aren't undser rated thats the Smiths.

still a great band along with R.E.M and The go- betweens also the Replacements
