So they can beat Aldi and Lidl they think? [Tesco is aiming to tie-up a "strategic alliance" with Carrefour in France in a move aimed at cutting costs which can then be passed on to customers.] Of course once J.Sainsburys join with Asda, Tesco will be number 2 in the UK. Im gutted Tesco direct closes this week We get staff discount so on large items I save a lot of money
