The pound is going to dive even further tomorrow after truss insisted there would be no cuts in public spending. There are only a couple of ways the government can balance the books and cutting taxes and borrowing is not one of them

tory mp's have accepted that they are going to lose the next election so they are now in damage control. If they get rid of Truss now they may lose 50 seats, if they leave her in place they will likely lose more than 150. She is done
