I have one dog that sleeps on the sofa downstairs because he's not fussed about sleeping upstairs and one dog that sleeps in my bed. This is only a recent thing (the past month or so) as before that they both slept on the utility room.

I enjoy my dog being there but some people seem to have a problem with it. I don't see the issue as long as you find it pleasant.

My dog sleeps on my mums bed. I don't see an issue with it and would let him sleep on my bed if he was smaller/I had a double.

My missus has a cock apoo and a king Charles spaniel, they stayed the weekend with me, the cockapoo is yappie dog but a lovely loving dog, the king Charles is so layed back, but I'm not kidding it snores worse than any human.

lol sheriff we had a Cavalier who was so laid back he was horizontal, and yes he could snore like a man, it's to do with their breeding (the flat nose) but I would give anything to have that little fella back, such beautiful dogs. and yes our dog sleeps on the bed sometimes .

I'm fine with it, except if they have bad breath. My dog (sadly gone to doggie heaven now) used to start off at the bottom of my bed, but I always woke up nose to nose with him and he had awful morning breath!!

They are both girls and so loving, but after 3 nights of no sleep I was ready to sleep on the floor.
O said they can come on the bed for cuddles and affection but I would get them a lovely bed for them on the floor.

The dog and the cat sleep downstairs, the dog doesn't come upstairs at all really, the cat comes up in the morning at the weekend and meows like a baby to get in and usually joins us in bed for a while. When the cat was a kitten he slept with us for a bit but we had to put a stop to that when he got bigger because he'd end up walking across your face in the middle of the night or he'd start to go mental in the early hours flying around the room

I don't have a dog but my cat sleeps on my bed when he feels like it. We share it half and half... he gets the middle and I get the two outside edges.

If you invite a dog into your home he becomes part of the family. He should be allowed up on the sofa. R.
