I really feel for Lauren but there was no way she wasn't going. Like, as soon as Felipe was allocated the advert, obviously Lauren had nothing to her name, and her pitch sucked, so she didn't have a leg to stand on.

If there was ever a Second Chance series (there won't be), Lauren would be one of my top picks to return.

There's something so very strange about the tone of the way Solomon Akhtar speaks.

Also, the inclusion of the radio soundbites in the Ten Years of Discount Buying (I presume as a throwback to Series 1?) was cute.

I cba with the last 2 eps of S10, but oveall it's an incredibly strong series. It's aged extremely well, I think I was initially too harsh on it bc it followed 9, but the group of candidates is one of the most varied, well-balanced and interesting of any series, and similar to S9, it was kind of refreshing for the show as it had a lot of 'firsts', but none overly contrived/gimmicky.

Starting S11 now, which exists currently in my mind as a messy, gimmicky (and generally a wee bit shyte?) series.

Week 1 was a decent episode, but Week 2 really sucks. Series 11 just is soooo void of icons!

Scott is cute, and Brett is a god.

David Stevenson sucks, such a bitch about Richard. Aisha Kasim will forever remain a mystery to me. She's like a robot, who just comes out with socially awkward/inappropriate comments such as 'don't touch me', and 'Charleine was outvoted' with a menacing grim on her face.
Natalie Dean is such a weirdo. Like there's no other way I can describe her.

Charleine and Selina's feud had so much potential! They were so passive aggressive in the Week 2 boardroom lmao. They producers shouldn't have edited out the physical fight!

What's the consensus on 12? I despised it at the time and it's the only series since I started watching that I didn't keep up with, but I'm actually looking forwArd to watching a series that I barely remember anything about

12 is really good, it starts slow and the first few episodes aren't that great but week 5-onwards it starts warming up and 7-10 is a flawless run of episodes

Funnily enough I just came in here to post about how much of a scream her Week 7 confessional about Richard was. She was absolutely livid. "Richard because he's just that little bit irritating just gives you that little edge, because you just want to smash him all the time. Seeing his little face drop gives me a lot of pleasure ".

I absolutely despised Week 2 of Series 12 when it first aired. I thought it was a joke, an abomination of the show. But omg I just re-watched it for the first time and I ****ing loved it.

Although the actual campaigns weren't memorably bad, the episode was littered with both small and large moments of hilarity: Natalie's misunderstanding of the term 'strapline', Karren saying that the use of 'Shake It Off' as the soundtrack to the girl's bathroom ad was unfortunate, Jess falling apart, Karthik's rampage. Also, the losers' cafe sessions, and the boardroom were both pretty iconic.

I hated that both teams lost when it first aired, but actually, having both teams lose for ****ty results is way more fun to watch when it happens in Week 2 than when it happens two weeks before the final (I'm looking at you Series 11).
