Yes, sadly for now transwomen will have to rely on Expectane until real synthetic wombs have been developed. Unfortunately Expectane is very expensive and it's not approved on the NHS, or by the FDA in America so you have to go to dodgy sources to get it. Not to mention that the birth has to be by scheduled C-section which risks various complications.

Science hasn't progressed enough yet, and I imagine creating an artificial female reproductory system within a transwoman would be;
a) Extremely difficult and dangerous, if possible at all b) Extremely expensive If it can be made possible one day though, I think it would be great for transwomen to have the choice just like anyone else.

I don’t think this would be totally beyond the realms of possibility.
I bet in a few years a uterus could be grown.Implanting it in a person and hooking it up would probably be the hard part. |
