He's played hard-men, gangsters and deviants during his long cinematic career. However unlike his on-screen persona, Michael Caine, 85, appeared in a joyous mood on Wednesday night as he led his fellow A-list acting veterans for the world premiere of new flick, King of Thieves, which is based on the infamous Hatton Garden jewellery heist in 2015, at the VUE in Leicester Square. The acclaimed British actor looked smart in a navy two-piece suit and blue shirt as he was accompanied by his wife Shakira, 71, for the star-studded occasion. Michael, who broke his ankle in March after falling over in his snow-covered garden, teamed his dapper look with a pair of black shoes and a walking stick while he posed for photos. Complementing the leading man, Shakira, who has been married to the film star since 1973, looked glamorous in a black a-line midi skirt and matching top. Albeit sporting some scruff, Michael appeared in jovial spirits on the carpet as he posed for photos with co-star Ray, who appeared to get a fright as the screen icon wrapped his arm around him from behind. The notorious hardman looked equally dapper in a three-piece cream suit, blue shirt and dark brown dress shoes for the premiere. Michael and Ray were joined on the grey carpet by their co-stars Charlie Cox, Michael Gambon, Francesca Annis, Paul Whitehouse, Tom Courtenay and Jim Broadbent. Michael's appearance on the grey carpet comes after he requested to have the C-word cut out of his new movie King Of Thieves, which follows the Hatton Garden jewellery heist. https://www.instagram.com/p/BnopmH7H...ken-by=aj11ace also at the premiere was Strictly professional dancer AJ Pritchard https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbi...-premiere.html |
