The Big Brother US/Canada effect
Because this series is gameplay orientated like the North American format I have noticed that similar to those versions where the underdogs gain a lot of support here there seems to be the same thing with the housemate repeatedly trying to get rid of Lewis / Akeem and them being the most popular with the general public.
