Point Break was the worst remake I think, It lost everything that actually made the original one good, which were likeable characters and character relationships and they replaced it with stunts and a confusing storyline

Lilo & Stitch / Stitch! The Movie / Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch / Leroy & Stitch

The original is a classic and 2 is surprisingly decent.
‘Stitch!’ and ‘Leroy’ are actually the pilot/series finale of the animated series and actually pretty weird and bland

The original one is fantastic. No remake will ever compare.

Spider-Man Homecoming (2017)
9/10 > this is the third time Spider-Man has been rebooted but I haven't yet seen the previous ones yet but that is probably not important but this one was great

Life-Size (2000)
8/10 > surprisingly funny Disney kids comedy about a girl who tries to bring her mum back from the dead but instead brings back to life a doll Eve (Tyra Banks) which results in amusing moments with Eve learning to be a human (when Eve says you must be Mr & Mrs boring was a highlight ), so they have already made a sequel to this

She's All That (1999)
7/10 > 90's teen comedy with a great cast like Paul Walker,Matthew Lillard, Jodi Lyn O'Keefe,Usher Raymond,Anna Paquin, Lil Kim and a cameo from Sarah Michelle Geller also this was filmed at the same High School as Buffy The Vampire Slayer which was cool and as usual Jodi Lyn O'Keefe plays yet another complete and utter b***h, type cast much

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (2011)
7/10 > good but it did drag due to the 2HRS and 38 minute run time also I didn't like the ending as I felt it left it on a bitter note, and we will never see it being resolved as the planned sequels never happened even tho this did good at the box office, but the reboot The Girl In The Spiders Web looks good

Christmas With The Kranks (2004)
8/10 > saw this on TV a few years ago originally gave it 6/10 but after a re watch it was much funnier

Blade (1998)
8/10 > again seen this on TV a while ago and it's still really good upon re watch, better than the over hyped Blade 2 and even Blade 3 was much better

Nothing Left To Fear (2013)
7/10 > another possession horror but unlike most of them this was quite good despite the over religious themes making it a cringe fest

Grimsby (2016)
7/10 > I thought this was going to be crap but it was amusing, the Elephant humping scene was hilarious

Spider-Man (2002 Movie) - I actually enjoyed most of the core elements of the Film, I even coped with the build-up to the Green Goblin reasonably well. However I did feel like the Mary Jane was overly simple and that Kirsten Dunst didn't act very well in the Film (tbf to her it's probably the fact that she was a damsel three times in the Film) and her scenes with Peter were cringy as **** and felt more in place of a RomCom. Also Harry was really whingy, and again I didn't really think that the actor was that strong in the Movie tbh. The best writing I'd say went to the Green Goblin, and the best actor does probably go to Tobey Maguire, even if his take on Spider-Man is a bit unusual.

Overall I'd give the Film a solid 8/10, an enjoyable Film overall with mostly fun characters and action scenes, but definitely flawed, especially in comparison to Homecoming imo.

I've not seen The Amazing Spider-Man Movies but I will move onto them once I'm done with Tobey Maguire's Trilogy.

We watched "Gerald's Game" on Netflix last night... most of the film was good if a bit weird, but the final "epilogue" ten minutes was frankly ****in' bonkers.

Currently trying to watch ‘Meet the Robinsons’ but I’m finding I really can’t get into it?

Edit: wait it’s getting a bit bonkers now I can kinda dig it

Blade 2 (2001)
8/10 > saw it on TV originally I didn't like it as much as the first but it was equally as good on a re watch

Legend Of The Guardians: The Owls Of Ga'Hoole (2010)
8/10 > amusing one liners in places, the scenery was amazing and the battle of the Owls at the end was good

The Night Before (2015)
7/10 > Christmas comedy with few funny moments considering Seth Rogen is in it and I normally find him funny, a bit disappointing to be honest

It would probably still be crap but at least it wouldn't be a reboot.

They could even explain that Marty and Doc changing the past is why real 2015 looked nothing like the 2015 shown in the original movies .
Not them doing a movie with a new actor visiting scenes from the original movies. Superimposing him with bad green screen effects.

Ikr? It was like the ending to a different film?

Spider-Man 2 - A very similar pro and con list as the first Film imo. 8/10

Spider-Man 3 - Dreadful! just dreadful! how on earth did they think for the last installment of the trilogy that we just wanted to see constant drama between Peter and Mary Jane? Also I didn't like Tobey Maguire's take on Venom as it came off a bit cringy to me. I also feel like Harry's journey during the trilogy was a complete waste of time imo, it felt like they changed the direction of where they wanted him to go and it wasn't for the better in my view. The best things about the Film were Sandman, Jonah Jamison, and Venom once he actually started getting into the story properly nearing the end of the Film. The rest of the Film I strongly disliked. 2.5/10

Spider-Man 3 has such an identity problem and some horrifically lazy writing but I still think there’s a good movie hiding somewhere in there. I’m yet to find it though

I agree with you, it almost felt like to me that the Film was padding itself out until we reach the last 10-15 minutes of the Film where it finally starts trying to be entertaining imo and embrace the Superhero elements more.

I feel like the studio meddling made Raimi and co. so apathetic towards the whole project that it just fell apart. There’s three completely different storylines flying around and then they kind of just mush into one right at the end like you said and none of them really feel resolved or worth the effort.

A Simple Favor - a great movie to watch with my gay ass friends. The dramatic commentary was brilliant. Blake Lively's power top energy had me questioning everything

I can see why Marvel wanted the rights to Spider-Man back because as you've said, the studio that made the trilogy intervened a lot and made some horrific storylines out of the material that felt completely out of place to what I thought that I'd be watching.

It was needless and stupid!

Spoiler:

And then she just swaggers on into the court to say hullo, he says something weird and she struts off down the middle of the road. WHAT. The movie could easily have ended simply with her driving away, or even with a short monologue that ended at the point where she said "they never found the ring" for some ambiguous creepiness.

DP2 - Very funny and enjoyable experience. Very happy that another sequel is coming. 4.75/5

Blade Runner 2049 - Amazing movie. Especially through the visual and music/sound stand point. Cast´s acting was stellar though. Really, really liked it. Well worth the wait. 4.95/5. Best of Ryan Gosling to date?

just watched bird box because of all the hype online... it was actually very enjoyable and honestly a very interesting concept... I think with the right writer and budget this could be made into a short series... 8/10

Black Panther - I really wanted to like this Film as I liked the character in Captain America 3, but the Film was just so average imo, and the main villain had a motive that would've fitted a Political Drama rather than a Superhero Movie. I however did like Michonne from TWD, the white guy, and the African white guy, and the black guy from the other tribe that found Black Panther (I'm sorry but I'm really bad with the names at the moment) but my biggest issues with the Film was the main villain, Black Panther's love interest having zero personality, and Black Panther himself being quite dull.

Overall I'd score the Film a 6/10, I much preferred Doctor Strange, Spider-Man Homecoming, and Thor: Ragnarok out of the newer Marvel Films, heck I even liked the first Film in The Amazing Spider-Man more and that's not even a Marvel Cinematic Universe Movie.

Office Christmas Party (2016)
9/10 > very funny xmas comedy with Jennifer Aniston playing a bitch boss very well and the usual office party mayhem follows

End Of Days (1999)
8/10 > Arnold Schwarzenegger plays a good guy battling against the Devil as he must protect an innocent young woman (Robin Tunney where is she these days?) who is chosen by evil forces to conceive the Antichrist with Satan, I really liked it

White Noise (2005)
6/10 > steady rate horror/thriller which is moderately entertaining throughout with a couple of disturbances thrown in, apparently the sequel is a lot better so I'm looking forward to watching it

Casa De Mi Padre (2011)
1/10 > absolutely awful film filled with painfully unfunny trash from start to finish, what was Will Ferrel thinking agreeing to this?
