Sportman of the year 2018: speed skater Kjeld Nuis

Sportlady of the year 2018: shorttracker Suzanne Schulting

Sportcoach of the year 2018: Jac Orie (coach dutch speed skating team) & Raemon Sluiter (Coach Kiki Bertens)

Sportteam of the year 2018: Dutch Track Cycling team

Disabled sportperson of the year 2018: Bibian Mentel

Lifetime Achievement Award 2018: Marianne Timmer (former speed skater, olympic, world and european champion)


and we had music from australian band Sheppard with their hit Coming Home (which was played the most during the world cup this year in Russia)

yes she has been battling illnesses, but despite the illness won 2 gold medals at paralympics in pyeongchang

Richard Branson immediately congratulated on winning that award last night, in a video message for her which was shown
