Actually I cook trout whole, after it has been gutted. I usually back it with a small bit of oil and a light sprinkling of herbs in the inside.

I normally have to get them from a certain supermarket, but could be open to seeing if I can get some from the Green Market.

Salmon I hardly ever do, as it is expensive and over rated. I bake salmon stakes on a bed of lemon, with slices of lemon on top.

It is herring I do as fillets, because they are too small for the fishmonger to gut.

I once forgot to ask them to do that with a mackeral, another fish with lots of flavour, and had to ring my father up to get step by step instructions on how to prepare the fish.

I find dab a bit bony. I loved place, but it is more expensive than salmon

So, Cameron, do you have many people asking you about fish and fish cooking. Have you ever thought of doing a cook book on fish cookery? I could help with some recipies, like the herring fillets and pepper

Strangely enough, I've been asked for LOADS of recipes since Big Brother. Lucky I have a secret stash of salmon recipes to draw on. And I would have to disagree with you on the cost of salmon - it's no dearer than cod or haddock, which many consider everyday purchases.

Addendum

If I remember at the weekend I will see if I can get some salmon steaks and cook them. If I remember I will also have a look at the price per lb of them and Cod and Haddock.

I believe we should all eat lots more fish - especially the oily fish as they are good for you.

Well Cameron Sticks may not like Salmon, but I absolutely love it. Every time we go out for a meal and I am asked what I would like whoever we are with says 'she'll have the salmon'. So any good recipes would go down well.

Sticks there is nothing like a lovely poached piece of salmon, new potatoes, green beans and a dash of parsley sauce. Ooops sorry feeling hungry now, will have to make do with a banana.

I did not say I did not like salmon

Just that it is a bit over rated, especially with the existance of factory farmed salmon. It has lost something in that respect.

I eat salmon, I even gave a recipie - bke it on a bed of lemon slices with lemon slices on top.

I just happen to go for oily fish, which is much mor healthier.

This talk makes me hanker after a whole baked trout.
