Gemma Collins has hit back at Big Brother 16 contestant Simon 'Showbiz' Gross after he gave a lengthy interview criticising the Dancing On Ice star.

Actor and radio host Simon, who spent four weeks in the BB house in 2015, claimed Gemma didn't deserve a place in the ITV skating show after appearing in so many other reality shows.

He slammed the Only Way Is Essex star following reports of her 'diva antics', after DOI co-host Holly Willoughby suggested she was "unprofessional".

He told the Daily Star Online : "I think Gemma's behaviour on Dancing on Ice is completely unprofessional and she’s abusing her experiences where other people from talent or reality backgrounds could have completely relished it.

"The whole 'diva' storyline is shabby, it’s boring and it’s wasteful – it just gets my back up."

Simon claimed he agreed with Gemma's DOI nemesis Jason Gardiner than she's wasn't in the same calibre of star's of yesteryear.

He lamented the fact that Gemma had starred on a string of reality shows, including TOWIE, I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, Sugar Free Farm, Celebrity Big Brother , Celebs Go Dating, Splash! and Celebrity Masterchef.

He complained: "It infuriates me that she’s grabbing all the jobs when there are other people that could be doing that and lapping it up, yet she’s swallowing all the jobs. Greedy."




Taking to Twitter , Gemma was thoroughly unimpressed and dismissed Simon's claims that she has "blanked" him at showbiz events.

Simon claimed he had been feuding with Gemma since she failed to turn up for an interview on his radio show four years ago.

However, taking to Twitter on Sunday afternoon, Gemma wrote: "I've never met you ... I know nothing about a radio show all I know is I was informed you was desperate to work with me but we kindly declined."

In response, Simon tweeted: "Gemma, you have met me few years ago at your shop also you were with Claire (Powell) at CAN at the time and u let me down last minute. As far as desperate goes don't flatter yourself you're Gemma Collins NOT Joan Collins."
