Independent
but not in that new group.

As he wants to leave the EU

[MP Ian Austin has revealed he is quitting the Labour Party, claiming it is "broken" under Jeremy Corbyn's leadership.

He is not joining the Independent Group of eight former Labour and three Conservative backbenchers, which was launched this week.]

What do all these Labour insiders know about the alleged antisemitism, they need to read more forum posts and blogs to really understand!!!

Really.
For me, I don't get why these people even stood in the general election just 18 months ago.

There is problems of course but we have Labour MPs who don't like Corbyn, never have and don't want him as leader.
Of course I am growing to question too his leadership, he was never my choice for Labour anyway.
As to antisemitism, I cannot accept with this issue, that every waking moment Corbyn doesn't seem to be constantly pushing, to really make a purge on any in the Party with the slightest antisemitic views.

There are in the Conservative party too many MPs also unhappy there too.

So, why don't all the disgruntled MPs, just all leave their Parties.
Not do this publicity seeking trickling out process of leaving.

All just go, resign their seats, create a mini general election as such.

Then see where we all are.

Ian Austin for instance says today.
He couldn't ask voters to have Corbyn as PM.
However just 18months ago he was doing just that and loved the result he got in his seat too.

Just all go..
Hold by elections and see if voters support their views.
Give some electoral base to their grievances too.

Or is it they know their seats would be lost to them.
I'm fairly sure at this moment in time, Labour or Conservative, those who have left, would lose their seats.

Corbyn however has another big issue, with just the membership of Labour..
I don't agree with it.
Who want a new so called public vote.
He may have more problems if he refuses to bend to that.

Whatever their reasons, it just annoys me from all Parties why they do it in a trickle process.

Just clear off.

You couldn't run a business not knowing if staff were going to at any time, any day just walk off.
Claiming to be disgruntled.
While just agreeing new contracts 18 months earlier.

Just go.
Then have the courage to ask the voters they claim to represent to back them.
If the voters do, great for them.

If the voters don't.
Well they'll have time to think then at least.

I wonder if the Labour members who are leaving because they're unhappy with Corbyn were expecting the Tories to whup them harder in the recent election, so Corbyn would "have to" step down? And they were just sticking with Labour in the meantime?

Corbyn does not want them
he wants his own Labour Party

Loads did not vote for him
its all them
but many will not give up
and are staying in the Labour Party.

Actually, I can see why Ian Austin won't fight a by election.
Considering he scraped home in 2017 by only 22 votes over the Conservatives.

Doesn't say much for him, when most other Labour MP's saw moderate to very large increases in their majorities.

See. I think he would be making a mistake backing one.
Do you arista?.

I see more problems if he did actually.

What else is Corbyn gonna say? "Actually all those members of the Labour party are correct, there is bullying and antisemitism under my leadership" ...

Yes all media are saying there may be MP's this week
if they are in the Anti Brexit viewpoint
they can join LT's thread. (The Independent Group of MP's)

If they are not they can go on this thread,
Austin voted Remain
but his locals voted to Leave
so he is honoring them
which is making him a Good MP in Dudley.
