Default BB4 better than BB2?

This may come across controversial especially from BB2 fans so apologies in advance(:
I re-watched both series two and series four last summer and decided to compare them both and tbh I found BB2 to be more of struggle to get through.
Im not gonna lie the first 3 weeks of BB2 are amazing and has some great moments i.e Amma v Stuart Stuart v Penny Bubble getting mangled and of course the queen of the series Narinder! But after she left the series fell so flat that literally hardly anything happens after with the exception of Helen and Paul

With BB4 Yes i agree the housemates were not the most entertaining bunch but they were a nice group of people and id put none of them as worst housemates of all time. BB4 gave us a lot of underated features that dont get enough praise i.e the saturday night challenges/reward rooms federico flirting with big brother, lisa i can kill you with two fingers ,the amazing tasks like the pedalo task and for me the best twist in BB history
The Swap exchange. And I think overall as series BB4 has a lot more going for it than BB2 does.
With BB2 we had good characters in Narinder Brian Helen and Penny
With BB4 we had jon fed ray tania lisa and anouska

How would you all compare both series two and four?

Maybe its just me having a soft spot for BB4 because it was my first series to watch but I geniunely didnt struggle as much watching it than BB2.

I think BB2 was praised because it had two big comedy characters in Brian and Helen that BB4 lacked, plus it was after BB3 where more was expected

Yeah i totally agree Daniel!
BB4s downfall i suppose was the fact it was after BB3 because after 3 the show was exploding in popularity. As a series it was well produced but did lack massively in big characters. I think had anouska and lisa been in the show for longer and cameron and steph were both evicted earlier on the show would probably be so much better
But yeah i totally agree with you there!

I Agree with you there tony it became such a hard watch after that
With BB4 atleast the swap the head of house and the 2 weeks of lisa jeynes made it a little bit more watchable

BB2 - dies after Narinder (4 weeks in)
BB4 - dies after Lisa (7 weeks in)

Believe it or not i felt the exact same way when watching both in the summer the final week from BB4 was so tedious and i remeber they had that stupid vote to return and they brought jon back which he brought hardly any drama like he said he was. It would have been so funny if Lisa had be voted back in right ater being evicted
