Weirdly, it seems Margot apparently doesn't have a very meaty role. She has very minimal dialogue and basically just shown "living the dream" around Los Angeles, attending parties etc and going to the cinema to watch herself in "The Wrecking Crew" (as seen in the trailer). Someone said they'd estimate she has about 30 minutes of screen time, which I did not expect. I think QT basically wanted to show her enjoying life, enjoying being this rising star on the cusp of something big, oblivious to what was going to happen to her. Almost as if he's humanising Sharon Tate, because she's [sadly] more associated with her death than her life. She's the "princess" of this dysfunctional fairytale. Margaret Qualley who plays Pussycat, the Manson girl that's in the car with Brad in the trailer, has more input/dialogue apparently. Did not see that coming! Reading many reviews it seems that it's a fun, nostalgic and heartfelt yet "wild ride" with like an unsettling tension slowly building on the periphery until BAM! This huge culmination that "shall not be named" happens. Last edited by LaLaLand; 21-05-2019 at 11:29 PM. |

All of those guys didn't make the final cut, and even Al Pacino had a scene or two cut from the final edit and isn't in it as much as people had predicted. Last edited by LaLaLand; 22-05-2019 at 06:47 PM. |

Oh ffs.
Do NOT go on this movie's Wikipedia page if you don't want spoilers. I was just blissfully unaware reading through and accidentally read the ending of the movie (Sounds good though ngl). Last edited by LaLaLand; 22-05-2019 at 07:07 PM. |

Thanks for the heads up buddy, and sorry you had to see it. Why the **** is it even on Wikipedia this early? Seems like a trap.

No idea, someone just spoiling it for everyone else I guess and sticking two fingers up to QT. The whole plot is there in black and white for everyone to see. Got to admit though, it's made me much more eager to see this after reading! Last edited by LaLaLand; 22-05-2019 at 07:12 PM. |

The whole plot? That’s brutal and a joke. It’ll probably not be there by tomorrow.

There's also a huge thing about Brad's character on there, like his back story that I did NOT see coming. |

I’ll definitely be avoiding Wikipedia from now on. I haven’t read any spoilers on this film so far and I’d like to keep it that way.

Many are shocked by especially Pacino and Robbie's lack of "presence", but apparently it's all justified and it wouldn't be as good or better if they were in it more kind of thing. This is still getting rave reviews, still in the late 80's and 90's on critic sites like Rotten Tomatoes etc after many reviews. Someone's called it "Pulp Fiction meets Jackie Brown with an Inglorious ending" Last edited by LaLaLand; 22-05-2019 at 07:24 PM. |

95% with 42 reviews now on Rotten Tomatoes, continue to rise...
Usually it's the contrary! |

That's Quentin's new highest RT score, surpassing Pulp Fiction's 94%. Hopefully it stays that way or rises.

Wow 4hrs 20 minutes? That would've been the longest film ever.

Same. Most directors usually consider their ultimate director's cut to be superior and the definitive version of it. Ridley Scott's Kingdom of Heaven for example.
