Two boys have died and a man and woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder after an "incident" at a house in Sheffield.
Officers were called to "reports of concerns for safety" at a home in Gregg House Road, Shiregreen, at 07:30 BST. The boys, aged 13 and 14, were taken to hospital with four other children and have since died. The other children aged between seven months and 11 remain in hospital A 37-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder. South Yorkshire Police said the cause of death of the boys had not yet been established. Post-mortem tests will be carried out "in due course", the force said. Det Ch Insp Simon Palmer said: "I appreciate the events of this morning have caused concern locally but I'd like to reassure you that there is no wider risk to the community. "To allow the investigation to progress, I would please ask that people are mindful of what they are posting on social media and the potential distress this may cause." The Yorkshire Air Ambulance was called out to assist and landed in the grounds of nearby Hartley Brook Primary Academy. The school is not believed to have been involved in the incident.
