Default Change UK's lead candidate in Scotland defects a week before EU Elections

[One of Change UK's top candidates in the European elections
has defected to the Liberal Democrats, just a week before voters go to the polls.

David Macdonald was first on the new pro-Remain party's list of
hopefuls to become an MEP for Scotland when the elections are held on 23 May.
Chuka Umunna, an MP and spokesman for Change UK, said
Mr Macdonald had "let down his fellow candidates and activists" by making the "disappointing" decision.]

Joke of a party, anyone that goes into an election withoout detailing pledges, policies and plans do not deserve to win.

No one believes any pledges a party makes and neither do the people making them, its about as useful as a CV

Silly comment.

If a party details their plans, it gives you something to hold them to and if they don't follow through then they won't be in power for long, at least that's how it's meant to work if people weren't so uninformed and quick to vote for stupid reasons.

Not detailing anything doesn't make them accountable for disregarding their promises. It's very short sighted to try to make out that it's meaningless, very short sighted and extremely uninformed.
