So I'm all caught up with this and at first, I was like meh but I'm actually super into it. I LOVE Caro, she's such a scream dsivpdnvlpoj

I love the dynamics of this show. Caro went from being the only girl with a connection with someone to the only girl without one in s time span of 24-36hrs. Only on love island lol.

I was a bit surprised she picked the irish guy to couple up. I thought her daye went ok but when she came back she immeadiately sat right next to michael and shared with the group how she just wasnt feeling it on her date. I really thought she was goona pick michael.

One element of this game that i kinda enjoy is the coupling up part where they flip flop between the boys and the girls. It limits how coy a person can be about who they are interested in. Im looking at you mallory. It was good that she was forced to admit that she liked her cowboy. That poor guy needed some assurance that he had some kid of connection going with her. I think alsna needs the same assurance at the next coupling. She has been puttimg herself out there and deserves to know if yamen is feeling it or not.

That was a good first week, although a shame about the first elimination, I think I would've rather preferred that he stayed as his connection with Caro seemed more genuine.

Did I spot an asian gal as the next new islander??? Maybe Raph did actually cast for this show then!

Lowkey hope this doesn't air in the UK now. Judging off the youtube comments it seems people just wanna hate and make out that the UK version is superior instead of actually watching and enjoying the show open-minded

Ok so I'm giving this a chance now and I honestly can't get through more than half this premiere and think I'm giving up. I'm sorry but how do people watch and enjoy Love Island? It's so tacky/cheesy/fill in the blank that I can't even see how like a hopeless romantic type could like it lol. But that's enough whining from me about the show. From this premiere:

Zac working at a grocery store... like what I liked him most though, really likable (and this pair is also the best on first impressions too, really cute match)

Poor Cashel seems so awkward but sweet and Caro is DESPERATELY trying to get away from him asap

Idk I might finish the rest of the premiere in a bit just to give it an actual full chance I guess.
