Is 20 quid like around $20?

Current family plan for me, my dad, my sister is around $200/mo Me & my sister pay $50 each of it. But I’m not too sure how much of that is paying off the phones & how much is for the unlimited calls/texting/internet

Virgin: 5000 minutes, unlimited texts, 8GB data for £10 a month

Then £19 a month on top of that for the actual phone plus £10 breakdown cover so £40 a month and it’s a 36 month contract

I pay £20 a month and get 10GB data, 1000 minutes and unlimited texts and I'm now thinking I get a bad deal

I'm one of maybe 5 people left in the country on pay as you go so I paid £150 or so for the phone (budget Samsung smart phone) then get these bundles from Vodafone. I might go back to getting the £10 bundle though cos I think that gets 4gb of data a month now which is probably enough

Quid is the same as pounds, just a slang term for it

Virgin, I pay 6.00 a month for 1500 minutes, unlimited texts and 2G, I rarely use data on my phone so it rolls over

My phone is 3 years old with a cracked screen and they keep ringing to upgrade me but not doing it until it dies

Me and daughter are both on Three, wifu is on EE

Mine is crap, £35 a month for unlimited/unlimited/8gb because I caved and got a new handset in February

Dunno what my wife pays but probably similar.

My daughter's is £11 a month (introductory, goes up to £20 in January) for unlimited calls texts and data . The benefit of unlimited data is that for long car journeys etc. I just make her turn on Mobile Hotspot and we all use her data . Bizarre thing is she's still stingey about it!

"Reeeeh that's MY data "
"You have unlimited!"
"...it's still mine and ur stealing it"

Also a couple of months back I went a bit crazy with the ol' "pay by mobile" and ended up with a £120 bill
