Default Emily Thornbury on question time.

Does she just squawk like a mother goose hoping her gooslings are scurrying behind with applause?

Can you talk about the things she says rather than criticising her demeanour and/or vocalisations?

Well at least it's easy to understand what she says.

She just chunters on and on saying nothing, just straight on attack on Boris. ..she was proven to have lied though but as usual just slavers on through the accusation..

No wonder we are in this mess.

I did find out that the mess we are in is because Mrs may banned cross party talks once the referendum results were read out.....

Oh if only that rule had been obeyed!

So what did she say?

Did she say that if they get in power that she will negotiate an exit deal with the EU and then campaign against that deal she negotiates because she wants stay in the EU?

If you get a chance to see that bit, take a look at it, you can actually see her brain doing somersaults when Fiona Bruce puts the question to her and total exposes her for what she is.

I plan to watch it for sure. It's just one of my bugaboos is when people comment on a public figure's appearance or mannerisms instead of their words. Like, I don't care that Trump is orange and has little hands, or that Emily Thornberry's manner is just plain offputting. I don't care that AOC is kinda hot, or that Corbyn looks like Obi Wan but malnourished

I also don't think much to most of the things they do or say, and that's what the focus should be.

What I am saying is she was saying nothing, but she said a lot whilst saying nothing. .she just keeps going like a goose does when it's trying to get her chicks to follow her..

She just yaps and taps and yaps until a trickle of applause happens, then gets high from the applause, thinking the whole audience is behind her...Even when she's digging a massive hole for herself...she's useless.

Loud and useless..

If the applause don't come, like the mother goose chicks when she is calling them, then she just gobbles harder until they do.

It's not a decided position in Labour.
The party conference is likely to state the actual policy.

If Labour were in government, they'd look to propose a customs union in the agreements.
The EU would support that.
Backstop not relevant anymore.

Then Labour would put their new deal and remain in a referendum.
Leaving voters to either change their minds and remain or take the new deal.

Or, in the absence of a new deal, unlikely
Hold a referendum on no deal or remain.
In that second scenario Labour would support remain.

Emily Thornberry made a mess of trying to outline the options but it's not that hard to understand surely.

The final decision of a new referendum has to be debated and set out at the Party conference in September.

The whole panel was infuriating this week, absolutely awful. These idiots are technically in charge of us and it's terrifying.

What Thornberry said she'd do about Labour asking to be given a deal from the EU and then go on to campaign against it was the biggest corker of the night though! Jesus Christ.

"Boris is a liar" x 1000 only to be a damn liar herself on numerous occasions as outlined correctly by her fellow panellists. When asked about Labour's failings she just brings up food banks and what not to deflect. Awful woman (and I'm a sort-of-Labour supporter).
