There is a prison on Portland Weymouth that is just for sex offenders

True story a prison guard let slip on Friday that a sex offender was getting on the bus with normal inmates.

Sorry to revive an old topic (I had a very old account on this site circa 2005), but you guys are aware that Huckle used to post on this site under the username Huckool?

If you google search that username, it appears that Huckle used it virtually everywhere. The location matches his birthplace of Ashford, Kent too. Not to mention that it was noted that he was a Big Brother fan.

He’d logged in last year (from prison?), presumably to edit his bio which...

There’s an old post from 05 where he’s talking about going to Malaysia too. Grim

Yes. Because the death penalty rightfully shouldn't exist.

yeah
I do think it's slightly different to be honest, the state signing off on killing people is different to random civilians cheering for it.

Nit that I would cheer for it nor do I think it should be cheered for; nothing to do with the specifics, I just think prisons should take inmate safety (of all inmates) VERY seriously and something like this being able to happen is a huge failing in that regard, and should not be applauded.

That said, given his crimes, I also think it's understandable for people to not CARE on a moral level that he was killed. That side of it gets a big "whatever".

There's a difference between wanting the state to murder people and call it justice and being apathetic towards the death of a monster.

Being unbothered by this ****'s death is a far cry from supporting the death penality. It should be obvious, really.

I unfortunately Khan not remember. I don’t think I had a regular username that I used on forums back then, so I could have signed up with anything.

Huckle was actually only 19 when he posted on this forum, but he appeared warped even then. He was already posting creepy comments on pictures of children on the trekearth site. I don’t support the death penalty either, but the world’s a better place without him in it.

It's just a shame someone else has had to pay a heavy price for it to happen

I don't necessarily agree with the death penalty; buuuut maybe in some cases, people's life should be made forfeit, and anything that happens to him or her will go completely unpunished. Or maybe prison guards should just spread the word whenever a molester is moved in, and don't take protective action.
