Halloween? Never.

Bonfire Night Fireworks last for like a fortnight and scare the ass off of my dog? Absolutely.

I don’t see the big issue, it seems like a dying concept compared to how it felt when I was younger anyway. (Maybe I just don’t notice now I’m getting older tbf). No reason to ban it tho, it’s quite easy to avoid if you’re not much for it.

Bonfire Night needs to be banned except organised displays though, just not safe and a nuisance for neighbours/pets.

At least we all agree that fireworks should only be used onnorofessional displays. The fact they go on for 2 weeks every night is so annoying and causes a lot of upset for pets

could we not call it sales, why does it have to be Black Friday? we don't celebrate thanksgiving, though I suppose that is only a matter of time before we take that on as well

Black Friday is an informal name for the Friday following Thanksgiving Day in the United States, which is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November. The day after Thanksgiving has been regarded as the beginning of America's Christmas shopping season since 1952, although the term "Black Friday" didn't become widely used until more recent decades.

I quite like Halloween and always have but like everything else it has become very commercial and seems to involve a lot of plastic stuff

Won't mind either way really.

like 90% of "Black Friday sales" stock is reduced-to-clear crap they've been hoarding in a warehouse specifically FOR Black Friday! Look at the model numbers on the "amazing deal!" TVs, etc... they will all be a couple of years old.

Pretty much, and Black Friday goes on for two weeks, its just another excuse to push crap at people who don't actually need it, think of the planet.... ignore it

the black friday sales have been atrocious for a number of years as far as i am concerned. I held off buying stuff the last couple of years in the hope of picking up a bargain. Nothing, zip, zilch. Nothing I was remotely interested in ended up being on sale.

Keep shovelling your joyless masks that bring you joy on this gloriously joyless day into the sea..let our fishes eat all those bits of plastic, perhaps in the future kids will have spock ears from eating plastic bloated fish on a friday every week..

And the masks won't be needed..

They should make masks out of cardboard only, recyclable
