Default Spice Girls beef up Tesco Christmas sales

http://www.talkingretail.com/

Sales of Christmas beef are up 110% at Tesco, reports the Daily Mirror, thanks partly to the endorsement of the Spice Girl's Mel C (Sporty Spice) in the supermarket's TV ad campaign.

Baby Spice, Emma Bunton's goose choice is up 42%, Scary Spice Mel B's salmon has seen sales leap by a third while Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) has boosted turkey sales by a fifth.

Victoria Beckham's lobster has seen only a 12% increase.
